About BlockRun

BlockRun is the x402 micropayment gateway for AI agents. One gateway for LLM inference and data APIs — 41+ models across 7 providers, real-time data feeds, smart routing, USDC pay-per-call. No API keys. No subscriptions. Wallet = auth.

We process 1.1M+ API calls/month, serve developers in 50+ countries, and won the Circle USDC Agent Hackathon.

The Role

You will own developer acquisition and growth from the ground up. BlockRun is a self-serve API product — growth means getting more developers to build on BlockRun and keep using it.

This is not a marketing role that writes blog posts. This is a hands-on growth role where you run experiments, ship landing pages, write scripts to track funnels, and personally engage with developers in the communities where they hang out.

What You'll Do

Developer acquisition: Find and convert developers in the OpenClaw, LangChain, CrewAI, and broader AI agent ecosystems
Channel strategy: Run Twitter/X accounts, Reddit, Discord, Telegram — wherever developers are building agents
Partnership integrations: Get BlockRun listed as a provider in AI frameworks, MCP server directories, and agent platforms
Hackathon presence: Identify, sponsor, and participate in AI/crypto hackathons globally
Content that converts: Technical tutorials, benchmark comparisons, cost-saving case studies — content developers actually read
Data-driven iteration: Track API signups, first-call conversion, 7-day retention, and cost per acquired developer. Kill what doesn't work. Double down on what does
Community cold start: Build developer community with growth as the objective, not vanity metrics

You Should Be

AI native: You use AI agents daily. You've built with OpenClaw, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar tools. You understand the developer workflow
Growth-minded: You think in funnels, not followers. You've grown a developer product before, or you've grown something from near-zero and can prove it
Technical enough: You can read API docs, write a curl command, understand what a router does. You don't need to be a senior engineer, but you can't be afraid of a terminal
Self-directed: We're a small team. Nobody will tell you what to do on Monday morning. You figure out the highest-leverage action and do it
Online-native: You know how developer communities work on Twitter, Reddit, Discord, HN. You've built an audience or grown one for a product

Nice to Have

Experience in AI or crypto/web3 developer ecosystem
Understanding of x402, USDC, or stablecoin payments
Track record of growing an open-source project's adoption
Multiple languages (we serve 50+ countries, largest markets: Nigeria, India, Vietnam)
